The controller of personal data is JD Aviation Jakub Drzewiński, NIP 9222482866.

Contact for data protection matters and exercising user rights:
e-mail: kontakt@latanieprecyzyjne.pl
contact page: latanieprecyzyjne.pl/kontakt

We accept requests concerning personal data primarily by electronic means. The controller's postal address is not published on the site; where letter correspondence is required, we provide it upon a justified request after prior contact by e-mail.

2. About the service

The latanieprecyzyjne.pl service ("Latanie Precyzyjne system") enables, among other things, pilot account registration, participation in precision flying events - in the MSFS simulator (SIM) and in REAL flight with GPS - the pilot panel, publication of results, and public live tracking of flights (livetracking).

3. What data we process and for what purpose

A) Registration and account (SIM / REAL)

  • Data: e-mail address, callsign (system identifier), password (encrypted), account type (SIM/REAL), registration date.
  • Purpose: creating and maintaining the account, sign-in, system e-mails (activation, password reset).
  • Legal basis: performance of a contract / steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

B) Flights, results, rankings

  • Data: callsign, event, route, result, flight status, related technical data.
  • Purpose: running competitions, rankings, flight history in the pilot panel, public results.
  • Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

C) REAL flights - GPS location

  • Data: GPS position from the pilot's device (Traccar), altitude, time, speed, heading - during an active flight.
  • Purpose: flight tracking, scoring, livetracking, organising competitions.
  • Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

D) Public livetracking (tracking.jdaviation.pl - SIM; live.jdaviation.pl - REAL)

  • Data (publicly visible): callsign, position on the map during the flight, route results.
  • Purpose: enabling the public to watch the competitions.
  • Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); the participant is informed of this before taking part in the competition.

E) Contact form and correspondence

  • Data: name, e-mail, message content - if you contact us.
  • Purpose: providing a reply.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or performance of a contract.

F) Technical logs

  • Data: IP address, date and time of connection - briefly, automatically.
  • Purpose: security and stability of the service.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Data recipients (processors)

Data may be processed by entities that support us technically, including:

  • CyberFolks - website hosting,
  • OVH - database and VPS server (API, livetracking),
  • e-mail provider for the latanieprecyzyjne.pl domain,
  • Traccar server (gps.jdaviation.pl) - GPS data for REAL flights.

Maps on the site may use external map tile providers (e.g. OpenStreetMap, Esri) - the browser connects to those services under their terms.

5. Data retention period

  • Active account - for as long as you use the service.
  • After account closure - the account is deactivated (no sign-in); results with callsign may remain in archive rankings as part of competition history.
  • Technical logs (e.g. IP address) - briefly, according to hosting settings; usually up to about 90 days.
  • Correspondence - up to about 3 years from the last contact.

6. Your rights

You have the right to: access your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and lodging a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).

Send your request to: kontakt@latanieprecyzyjne.pl.

7. Obligation to provide data

Providing an e-mail address, callsign and password is required to create an account and use the pilot panel.

8. Automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning the user. Flight results are calculated automatically by the scoring system within competitions.

9. Cookies

The service uses cookies necessary for operation (e.g. session after sign-in). The service also uses a cookie that stores the site language choice (PL or EN). We do not use marketing cookies that require separate consent. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

10. Security

We use, among other things, password encryption, HTTPS connections and limited access to the database and the administration panel.

This section concerns the security of data and the IT system, not the safety of performing a flight - see section 12.

11. Changes to the policy

We publish updates on this page together with the date of the last change.

12. Flight safety - pilot responsibility

The Privacy Policy describes data processing. Flight safety and responsibility for performing the flight are a separate matter.

Routes, maps, KML/PDF files, briefing in the pilot panel and data on the site serve to organise precision flying events and competitions (SIM / REAL). They are informational and organisational - they do not replace the pilot's duties, aviation briefings, NOTAMs or current airspace restrictions.

Maps and route views on the site (in the pilot panel, livetracking, etc.) are not an operational document or an aeronautical chart within the meaning of the regulations. They do not replace current charts and aeronautical publications required by law - the pilot uses them at their own risk.

The pilot is responsible for flying in compliance with applicable regulations, including the current status of zones and restrictions (e.g. temporarily active areas on or near the route), and for decisions to start, continue and end the flight. This applies in particular to REAL flights; for SIM - to the simulator rules and the virtual MSFS airspace.

The administrator of the Latanie Precyzyjne system is not liable for airspace infringements, collisions, damage or other consequences arising from performing the flight, including from the use of livetracking and the scoring system. Participation in events is at the participant's own risk.

Detailed participation rules may be set out in the competition or event rules.
